Kenyan outlet Pulse Sports are reporting that whilst the news is not yet announced, Michael Olunga “will stay” in Qatar next season after signing a contract extension.The report claims that Olunga is now set to join up with his teammates in an Austrian training camp ahead of the new season in news that will delight the supporters of the Qatari side.

The 29-year-old Kenyan international striker was on explosive form last season netting 33 goals in 29 games and firing Al Duhail to the Qatari title. As a result of the towering Kenyan international’s form it had Rangers linked with a move but the Ibrox club were not the only team said to be interested.
