Premier League set to resume in August

The 2023-24 Premier League season is just two months away, with many teams already preparing for the new campaign.

Manchester City will be looking to win their fourth title in a row after finishing five points above Arsenal.

The Gunners, Newcastle and Manchester United will all be playing Champions League football next season.

Liverpool will be playing Europa League football along with Brighton and Hove Albion. Aston Villa secured their place in the Europa Conference League next season following their win against Brighton on the final day. Leicester, Leeds and Southampton will all be playing Championship football next year after failing to beat the drop.

Twenty teams will compete in the league – the top seventeen teams from the previous season and the three teams promoted from the Championship. The promoted teams are Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton Town, who will return to the top flight after respective absences of one, two and thirty-one years.
